The Continuous group

The general formula:

The auxiliary verb to be in the correspondent tense of Indefinite group + Participle I* of the notional verb.

*Participle I = the stem of the verb + the suffix -ing.

The general definition:

The Continuous group denotes an action in progress going on at the present moment or at a definite moment in the past or future.
